Viewsonic Adds 2 LED Monitors to its Lineup

ViewSonic has added two new products to its LED monitor line – 15.6″ VA1601w and 19″ VX1932wm.

The new green LED monitors are environmentally friendly with less energy consumption.

The VX1932wm-LED monitor provides DCR at 10,000,000:1. The WLED Backlight technology automatically detects image signal and intelligently controls backlight brightness, as a result of this property its widescreen display makes the black, true black in a dark scene and the white, “whiter” in a bright environment. The extended perfect picture quality eliminates image distortion by maintaining correct image proportions for both widescreen and native 4:3 content. It automatically adjusts the gray level and for this reason it enhances the LCD monitor’s gray level performance range. The optimized desktop in addition uses 50% less power without compromising on the viewing quality producing greater detail and definition to the images.

The VA1601w-LED LCD Monitor features a 15.6″ of viewable area designed with the latest wide screen format. The monitor features the latest LED backlight technology consuming less power and lowering the total carbon footprint. The LED is mercury free and better for the environment, as the monitor consumes less than 1watt in standby mode and moderately not more than 10watts in normal operation. Wide screen content or 4:3 content can be watched without being stretched with the automatic 4:3 pull down built into the monitor.

The 19″ monitor is available for approximately Rs. 8000, while the 15.6″ monitor is available for approximately Rs. 7000.
